Our little poopy, Ruby

I am not good at blogging.
Our 1 year anniversary came, back on March 19th, and we were trying to decide what marvelous and exciting (within our budget) thing we could do, and with all the options during a snowy cold March we decided let's just get a puppy :). I don't want you to think we were rash, because we'd been thinking about it for a while. I had been pushing for a Great Dane, and Morgan in his heart of hearts wanted a pitbull. (I have to admit, they are pretty dogs, as are great danes....) So of course we had to meet in the middle and we decided on a Boston Terrier. Which is no where in the middle of the 2 other breeds, but we love our Ruby!

First of all, great breed. They don't get too big, but are still athletic enough we could take her out on our travels to the canyons and mountains and she'd be happy. They aren't really the barking type, unless you get her all riled up, then she may bark at you once or twice. AND, she's a super cute puppy. Here's the pictures! (in chronological order)

Sorry there are quite a few. 1) because I like visuals 2) we're making up for lost time

Frog legs

Puppy dog eyes for sure

Yeah, she's a funny sleeper... wherever she's sleeping

We took Ruby camping the weekend before Easter. One night we slept in the car because who pays $30 for a hard piece of ground, in Beaver, Utah, to set up a tent for 8 hours?

not the best picture of yours truly... but cute puppy

sneaky puppy...

Welcoming Ruby to the canyon lands (Bryce Canyon to be specific)

The waterfall really is that color by the way

Not so good at the leash thing

EVERYONE loved this puppy (not surprised!) We met people from all over the world who just wanted to pet her, take pictures with her, and even people who have Boston Terriers of their own and just wanted to share stories :)

sometimes she isn't in the snuggling mood and could care less if you want to take a picture

We also visited beautiful Boulder, Utah

Back Home. Ruby likes to have her belly rubbed

She DOESN'T like to be left alone... She makes disastrous messes when she has too much alone time....

She is getting big fast... and yes that is a kitchen scale

snuggler

wants to play
